Reardon named as Meadowbrook Head of School

MEADOWBROOK The Meadowbrook School announced the appointment of Michael J. Reardon as its new head of school, effective July 1.

Reardon, the current director of admissions at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, also worked for nine years at the Phelps School in Malvern as the head of school, dean of students and the assistant headmaster for enrollment.

Before that, Reardon worked at Gilmour Academy in Ohio as the assistant director for residency and the lower school athletic director. He also was the assistant dean of residence life at Georgetown Preparatory School in Maryland.

Reardon will replace David Stephens, who is resigning to pursue other interests, a school official said. The Meadowbrook School is an independent private elementary school that serves students from preschool through sixth grade.
