One dead in Montgomery County crash

A two-car crash in Upper Dublin Township left one person dead Monday, authorities said.

Around 4:40 p.m. the cars collided near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Twining Road in the township's Oreland section, according to officials.

Police did not release the identity of the deceased, who was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no immediate reports of other injuries.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
