Man, 34, shot in the face in S.W. Phila.

A 34-year-old man was shot in the face inside a hotel Tuesday night in the Eastwick section of Southwest Philadelphia, police said.

The shooting occurred about 7:10 p.m. in a fourth-floor hallway inside the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in the 4100 block of Island Avenue, police said.

The victim was taken by police to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was reported in critical but stable condition. No arrests were reported. - Robert Moran
