The person was struck by a train on the Manayunk/Norristown Line about 9 p.m. near Ford Street south of the Norristown Transportation Center, said SEPTA spokeswoman Kristen Geiger.

Service on the line was temporarily suspended pending a police investigation, Geiger said. - Robert Moran
