Man critically wounded in Kensington shooting

A 19-year-old man was in critical condition after being shot four times Wednesday night in the city's Kensington section, police said.

Shortly after 9 p.m. at the corner of G and Willard Streets, the man was shot twice in the back and twice in the right forearm by an unknown assailant, police said. He was transported by police to Temple University Hospital.

The victim was found at a nearby house, but he told police he was shot at the corner as he exited a store. No arrest was reported. - Robert Moran
