A 23-year-old Philadelphia man has been arrested after shooting at two police officers Thursday morning in Upper Darby Township, police said.

The officers had followed a car out of a closed gas station in West Philadelphia at 2 a.m. said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood. When the vehicle fled, the officers pursued it to 69th Street in Upper Darby. They lost track of it temporarily, and when they located it again, they saw a man standing outside the car. That man fled on foot. The vehicle pulled away as the man on foot fired a single shot at the officers, police said. No one was injured.

Reginald Floyd of Philadelphia was arraigned Thursday on charges that included attemped murder and assault on a law enforcement officer. He was being held at Delaware County jail in lieu of $500,000.
