Pothole work readied in Camden County

HADDONFIELD Motorists who use Warwick Road through Haddonfield will soon see road construction to repair potholes, but authorities have not yet detailed the exact schedule that will unfold over several days.

The Camden County Department of Public Works has planned the emergency roadwork on sections of Warwick that show significant damage caused by this winter's severe weather.

Officials are asking drivers to anticipate the project, and expect delays. The exact timing will be determined by the weather and other factors, officials said.

The county is also repairing roads throughout the county using the Pothole Killer, a truck with a tank on the back and a boom on the front. Controls inside the cab are used to fill ruts and holes within minutes.

Officials ask that residents report road hazards they encounter to the Camden County Public Works Hotline, at 856-566-2980. The number is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
