Bullet shot at SEPTA bus

A man shot at a SEPTA bus Saturday night, police said. About 50 people were on board, but no one was injured.

The No. 20 SEPTA bus was on the Roosevelt Boulevard, just south of Tyson Avenue on its southbound route from the Franklin Mills Mall when the man shot at it, leaving one bullet hole in the bus' entry door.

Police said the shooter was an African American male wearing a black jacket, white T-shirt and a black hat with red writing on it. The man was of medium complexion and weight, police said. Police said Saturday night they didn't know why the man shot at the bus.
