The second of two men found shot in the head inside a burning vehicle that had crashed into another car in Olney on Wednesday night has died, police said Thursday.

Residents dialed 911 after the vehicle crashed into a parked car on the 5600 block of North Palethorp Street around 8 p.m., and both men were pulled out by two passersby.

Both of the men had been shot in the head and face, police said.

Stephen Mysyk, 25, of the 5900 block of Ella Street, whom police believe was the passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, whose name was not released, was taken to Einstein Medical Center, where he died about 1 a.m. Thursday, police said.

Police have not released a motive in the killings, but witnesses said the victims were seen having a conversation on the street moments before the killings. Mysyk had 12 prior arrests, police said, including three for drug offenses.

As with all city homicides, there is a $20,000 reward in each of the killings. Anyone with information may call homicide detectives at 215-686-3334.
