Lane and ramp closures on Route 202 this week

Closures at night on Route 202

Installation of two overhead signs on Route 202 will cause nighttime lane and ramp closures next week in Chester County, according to a PennDot news release.

From 8 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday, northbound Route 202 will be down to one lane between Route 29 and Chesterbook Boulevard. Traffic will be stopped there at 10 p.m. Wednesday for up to 15 minutes, the release said.

At the same time, two ramps in East Whiteland Township will be closed: the on-ramp at Swedesford Road and the off-ramp to Matthews Road.

From 8 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, Route 202 will be reduced to a single lane between Route 20 and Chesterbrook Boulevard, and traffic will be stopped periodically for up to 15 minutes.
