Two more arrested in Chesco 7-11 robbery
EXTON Two women accused of assaulting a 7-Eleven clerk who tried to take their picture as they robbed his Exton store Saturday turned themselves in to the police late Monday, according to a news release.
Asia Henderson, 19, and Najia Davis, 22, both of Philadelphia, surrendered to the police Monday after warrants were issued for their arrest. Two other Philadelphia women accused of taking part in the robbery, 18-year-old Nirrah Jones and 18-year-old Shanelle Davis, also both of Philadelphia, have already been arrested, the police said.
The police said the four women entered the store on N. Pottstown Pike at about 2:06 p.m. Saturday and left with a bag of merchandise. The male employee followed them and began taking pictures on his cell phone, leading one of the women to take his phone, the police said.
According to the release, one of the women then sprayed the man with pepper spray. When he went into the store, carrying the bag of stolen merchandise, two of the women followed him inside and assaulted him, the police said.
Officials said the women then left the store without getting back the stolen merchandise.
Davis is currently being held on a $75,000 cash bail, and Jones is being held on a $50,000 cash bail, the police said.
