Provost to leave Cabrini for Wilkes
RADNOR The provost at Cabrini College will be moving to Wilkes University in June to become the senior vice president, Cabrini announced.
Anne Skleder, also a vice president for academic affairs, helped forge partnerships with individuals and institutions to enhance the college's stature, the school said in a statement. She "encouraged faculty to propose and launch new undergraduate and graduate programs."
While at Cabrini, Skleder was a professor of psychology. She was also founding dean of Chatham College for Women at Chatham University in Pittsburgh.
Her previous academic positions include vice provost at Alvernia College (now University) in Reading, where she was founding director of the Center for Community Engagement. She also had teaching assignments at Lafayette College and DeSales, Lehigh, and Temple Universities, according to Cabrini.
Skleder earned her bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Pittsburgh and her master's and doctoral degrees in social and organizational psychology at Temple.
