1 dead, 1 hurt in Harrowgate shooting

A man was killed and another wounded in a double shooting Tuesday night in the city's Harrowgate section, police said.

About 8:15 p.m. in the area of H and Russell Streets, a man in his late 20s was shot in the chest and a 29-year-old man was shot in the right leg, police said.

Both were taken to Temple University Hospital, where the man shot in the chest was pronounced dead at 8:50 p.m., police said. No arrests were reported. - Robert Moran
