Police: 5-year-old injured in Phila. hit-and-run

A 5-year-old boy was hospitalized after the bicycle he was riding was struck by a silver Cadillac in what police said was a hit-and-run incident in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood Saturday night.

A 5-year-old boy was hospitalized in critical condition after the bicycle he was riding was struck by a silver Cadillac in what police said was a hit-and-run incident in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood Saturday night.
The boy, who was not identified, was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Police said the boy rolled off the vehicle's hood after he was hit and suffered head trauma.
The accident occurred around 6:50 p.m. near 59th Street and Cedar Avenue.
Police are looking for the driver of the vehicle. It was last seen heading south on 59th Street, they said.
