2 shot in Philly overnight
Two men were wounded early Wednesday in separate shootings a half-hour apart in North Philadelphia and Germantown, police said.
A 29-year-old man was shot once in the back about 2:20 a.m. on North Stillman Street near 25th and Norris Streets. Medics took the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
Another 29-year-old man was shot once in the left knee about 2:50 a.m. at Wayne and Chelten Avenues in the city's Germantown neighborhood. A private auto transported that victim to Roxborough Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition Wednesday, police said.
Police, who were looking for the shooters, have not reported any possible motives for the shootings.
