Four Philadelphia men, including a son of former Police Commissioner Sylvester M. Johnson, have been charged in an alleged house-stealing scheme involving 22 properties, the District Attorney's Office said Wednesday.

I'm not surprised. Cops feel so entitled that steeling comes because they see all of their cop brothers and sisters doing it. It's part of the culture. The children learn from their parents. Cops are dirty.— DarnelX

- All I know about Sylvester Johnson was that when he was Inspector, Kensington was safer. Not that he was ever the Inspector of the East Division. But because he came to anti drug rallies in the area. As Commissioner he destroyed drug dealers who bragged how they paid off cops. He placed all these officers all over Kensington, Why pay when you can't sell. I lived for 4yrs in the K&A area. During that time, We had murders 3 out of the 4yrs on this block. Johnson was smart enough to place an officer there. When Ramsey took the officer out. The guy who was the Kensington strangler was able to deal drugs on the block & find his victims. Steven Johnson did what he wanted to do if he is guilty, His father even wore a wire during an FBI investigation into city corruption. Sometimes we don't measure up to our parents.
