Man killed in daylight shooting in Olney

A man was shot and killed today in Philadelphia's Olney section, police said

Police broadcast an alert for a Green BMW X5 with New York tags and a silver Ford Taurus with a 300-pound man behind the wheel.

The victim, said to be in his 20s, was shot multiple times around 8 a.m. on the 500 block of Geneva Avenue. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene at 8:17 a.m., police said

It is still early in the investigation and there is no word yet on a possible motive.
