D.A. host town hall meeting in S. Philly tonight
District Attorney Seth Williams is set to hold a Community Town Meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. tonight at South Philadelphia's Vare Recreation Center, 26th Street near Morris.
"My motto for tonight is, 'We can do better. We must do better. We deserve better,'" Williams said in a statement.
"This is just the beginning of a series of town meetings I will be attending all across the city. I want to hear from everyone because the only way we can bring change is by listening and trusting one another," he added.
Joining Williams tonight will be Deputy Commissioner Kevin Bethel, members of the D.A.'s staff and officers from the Police Department.
