Last day to comment on new Scudder Falls bridge

Today is the final day for public comment on the planned new Scudder Falls toll bridge on I-95 between Bucks and Mercer Counties.

Today is the final day for public comment on the planned new Scudder Falls toll bridge on I-95 between Bucks and Mercer Counties.

The $300 million, 180-foot-wide bridge over the Delaware River is to have nine lanes for traffic (up from the current four), two 14-foot-wide dedicated lanes for buses, and two 12-foot shoulders. A pedestrian/bicycle walkway is being considered, but may be too costly, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission says.

Comments may be mailed to Kevin Skeels, senior program area manager, DRJTBC, 110 Wood and Grove Streets, Morrisville, Pa. 19067, or e-mailed to ScudderfallsbridgeEAcomments@hntb.com.
