Early yesterday morning, a Yankees fan from Hatboro wound up in a brawl and then in jail, following his team's Game 4 victory in the World Series.
Jason Moore, 31, of Hatboro told police he'd been punched, after an officer's arrival about 12:30 a.m. disrupted a fracas outside the Brick House Tavern on Easton Road.
Moore, who lives in the 3100 block of Blair Mill Road, didn't get hospital treatment.
He wasn't that injured, police said.
Instead, he got arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
Police also discovered Moore owed about $1,000 worth of outstanding traffic tickets, and charged him with not having a valid address on his driver's license.
He was released after being arraigned yesterday.
The man who allegedly punched him faces more serious charges.
Marcus Malloy, 31, of Elkins Park tried to drive away in a Chevrolet Tahoe, but police stopped him and gave him a sobriety test.
Despite an open bottle of whiskey in the pickup, and an admission of having had a couple of drinks, Malloy passed.
Also found, however, were a bag of marijuana, a tinfoil pipe, and prescription pills obtained without a prescription, police said.
Malloy, of the 8100 block of Fairview Road, was charged with drug possession and simple possession of pills, according to police.
