The Coast Guard suspended its search today for a Lansdowne man last seen early this morning aboard a boat that capsized in the Delaware River near Marcus Hook.
Joel Arizza, 21, was not wearing a life jacket, authorities believe.
Kevin Kelly, who was also on the boat, swam to shore and was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center, according to the Coast Guard.
The first report of the submerged 15-foot pleasure craft came in at 3:30 a.m. from a crew member on a tugboat.
Assisting in the search were a Coast Guard helicopter crew from Atlantic City, a Coast Guard boat crew from Philadelphia, Delaware County Fire and Rescue and the Chester Police Department.
Petty Officer Chris McLaughlin, a Coast Guard spokesman, said that the search was suspended at 4:09 p.m., and that New Jersey state police would begin recovery operations tomorrow.
