About 8:20 last night, officers found an 18-year-old male and his mother with gunshot wounds in the 2500 block of South Third Street, near West Porter Street, police said.

The teen, found inside in a silver-and-gray Pontiac, had been shot twice in the abdomen, once in the right buttocks.

His mother, 36, had been shot once in the right buttocks.

Both were in stable condition after being taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
