Both multistate lotteries rose again over the weekend.
Tomorrow's Mega Millions will be worth $38 million in 26 annual payments or $24.3 million in cash because no one hit all the numbers drawn Friday night.
Two New York tickets, and one each in Maryland and California, won $250,000 for having the first five numbers - 16, 27, 48, 49 and 54 - but missing the Mega Ball of 2.
Wednesday's Powerball jackpot will be much richer: $95 million in 30 yearly payments, or $49.3 million cash.
The biggest winner in Saturday's drawing was a single Pennsylvania ticket that had the first five numbers - 13, 28, 38, 41 and 56 - but not the Powerball of 25.
That's the eighth time in a month that Pennsylvania missed the jackpot by the just the Powerball.
Three of those tickets won $1 million, because they also had the Power Play multiplier option. The others, including one from Wednesday's drawing, were $200,000 winners.
Mega Millions is played in New Jersey and 11 other states, while Powerball is played in 30 states, including Delaware.
