Mount Airy Casino Resort to shut down overnight

MOUNT POCONO, Pa. - The Mount Airy Casino Resort in the Pocono Mountains will shut down for six hours overnight.

The casino is to close at midnight and should reopen by 6 a.m. tomorrow.

It's to add a backup electrical system to prevent a repeat of last weekend's unscheduled closing. The casino evacuated about 800 customers on Saturday night and reopened at noon on Sunday.
