Cash, 26, is accused of two execution-style killings – the first in Philadelphia on April 21; the second in Bensalem on Sunday.

Details of Cash's arrest had not been confirmed, but Lt. Frank Vanore, a Philadelphia police spokesman, said that city homicide investigators and Bensalem officials went to New York last night and confirmed that a man in custody there was Cash.

The suspect did not waive extradition, so authorities will have to file court papers for an extradition hearing in New York before they can bring him back to this area.

Cash is accused of the point-blank shooting of 19-year-old Muliek Brown at a Frankford Avenue car wash on April 21.

And on Sunday, Bensalem officials allege, Cash carjacked a Philadelphia couple near an after-hours club on Castor Avenue. He forced the driver, Edgar Rosas-Gutierrez, 32, to drive to Bensalem, where he allegedly shot Rosas-Gutierrez in the back of the head and dumped his body near Route 1 and Street Road.

Officials say the gunman repeatedly raped Rosas-Gutierrez's female companion, 41, in the car and at a motel in Lawrenceville, N.J. The woman escaped at the motel and the suspect fled in the stolen car.
