Gas leak repair ties up Delaware County traffic

Traffic in a lower Delaware County community was disrupted for a little over an hour today while crews worked to repair a gas leak.

Around 10:30 a. m. a construction crew digging in the area of Route 322 and Cherry Tree Circle in Upper Chichester broke a valve connected to a gas line.

There were no injuries.

Three small area businesses were evacuated while crews worked to fix the break. Also as a precaution, students from the nearby Hilltop Elementary School were kept inside during morning recess.

Police from Upper Chichester Townships redirected traffic around the leak onto other area roads. Police from Aston, Bethel and Trainer Townships assisted.

Searing is a great critics' word that must be used rarely and carefully. So much film stuff that's supposed to shock your soul is just special effects that may cook emotions, but doesn't leave them juicy.
