1 killed, 2 hurt in shooting at Bristol Township home

An overnight shooting in Bristol Township left one person dead and two others injured.

Police were called to a home on the 900 block of Winder Drive shortly before 1 a.m. after one of the victims went to a neighbor's residence and called for help.

Lt. John Godzieba, the township's acting police chief, told reporters that officers found one person deceased inside the house. Another person in the home had also been shot, and a third shooting victim had gone next door to call 911.

The conditions of the two surviving victims weren't available. No names were released.

Godzieba said investigators were interviewing neighbors and the victims. It wasn't known whether any of the victims fired shots, or whether police were looking for another suspect.

"We don't have any idea right now," Godzieba said.

Shell casings were found in the home, but no weapon was recovered.

Police didn't receive any reports of gunshots other than the call from the victim who called 911.

Authorities didn't immediately know whether the people involved in the incident were related or how they knew each other.

Investigators are continuing to process the scene.
