1 Mega MIllions ticket wins $180 million

Jackpots just can't seem to get as gigantic as they used to.

Not that $180 million is anything to sneeze at.

That's the size of the Mega Millions annuity prize hit by a single California ticket in Friday night's drawing. The ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven on County Line Road in Calimesa, west of Los Angeles.

It matched all the numbers drawn: 5, 31, 34, 41 and 74, with a Mega Ball of 3.

A Pennsylvania ticket was the only $1 million winner. It matched the first five numbers but not the Mega Ball. Which retailer sold it probably won't be announced till Monday by the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The jackpot rebooted to  $15 million for Tuesday's drawing.

Together, Mega Millions and Powerball produced six jackpots worth $399 million or more in the ten months from May 2013 to March 2014.

The biggest since was a $259.8 million Powerball jackpot won in Tennessee in June.
