Police have arrested two men and are seeking a third in Monday’s home-invasion robbery of four Temple students in their North Philadelphia apartment just a few blocks off campus.
Officer Christine O’Brien, a police spokeswoman, declined to release the suspects’ names, saying they’re still being processed.
Capt. Roland Lee, commander of the police district headquartered nearby, couldn’t be reached this morning. But yesterday, Lee said detectives are investigating whether Monday’s robbery is related to other unsolved robberies nearby.
In Monday’s attack, three armed men followed a female student to her apartment at 18th and Berks streets about 7:30 p.m., forced their way in, tied her and her roommates up with duct tape and stole laptops, cellphones and cash.
Police captured surveillance video of the suspects, as seen below.
