10 hurt after SEPTA bus, van crash in Frankford

Ten people were injured after a SEPTA bus and minivan collided in Frankford this morning.

SEPTA said the crash happened at about 10 a.m. at the intersection of Torresdale Avenue and Bridge Street.

Six passengers on the Route 84 bus were injured, and four people in the minivan were hurt, the transit agency said.

All of the injuries are believed to be minor.

Authorities said preliminary information indicated that the van ran at a red light at the intersection, striking the bus. Officials are continuing to investigate.
