There will be fun for everyone at the much-anticipated Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge Autumn with the Animals festival, an annual family tradition at the Medford non-profit. Children and adults of all ages can enjoy wildlife programs, live music, nature hikes, child-friendly games, crafts, food, canoeing and much more!
You'll have a hoot running or strolling through the property of Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge at the Fourth Annual Hoot, Waddle, and Stroll 5K Trail Run and Half-Mile Stroll! This fun-filled event supports the non-profit and is sanctioned by United States Track and Field. The beginner to intermediate trail run is family-friendly. The race takes place almost entirely within Cedar Run's property, consisting of rugged single-track trails on a flat course with varied terrain and scenic views. Participants must maneuver through tree ruts, steps, bridges, and soft sand for a chance to win awards. Walkers can use a half-mile loop comprised of less rugged trails, suitable for strollers and young children. 7:30 a.m. - Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration begins; 9:00 a.m. - 5K Trail Run begins; 9:15 a.m. - Half-Mile stroll begins; 10:30 a.m. - Award ceremony.
