The Design Center Goldie Paley House at Philadelphia University

The Design Center aims to showcase the interwoven issues of function, beauty and style in designed objects of all kinds. A recent show of textiles from the University’s Paley Textile Collection underscored its historic involvement in this area. An ambitious 2002 show, What is Design Today?, stakes out the area this gallery promises to continue exploring.
