Fabric Row

Fabric Row has continued to be a hub for textile-related businesses for over a century in Philadelphia. As demand grew and Philadelphia rose to become the preeminent men’s wear manufacturing center of the world, the shops expanded to supply the local factories, and custom tailors, dressmakers and milliners with needed materials. Today, Fabric Row, located on South 4th Street, between South and Catherine Streets, is home to many shops, some of them third-generation businesses, offering an unparalleled material resource, as well as a unique mix of non-textile products.
