The name: Guy Fieri's Chophouse.

Atlantic City, or Flavortown?

Caesars has confirmed that Guy Fieri - host of TV's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives - will open a restaurant at Bally's in Atlantic City.

The casino operator describes Guy Fieri’s Chophouse as "a unique twist on the classic steakhouse" and mentions a menu of signature dishes with "New Jersey flare," such as the Java Rubbed Ribeye Chop, Filet with Roasted Garlic and Brown Butter, Spicy Bloody Mary Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Jersey Shore Clams Casino, Jersey Tomato Salad and Cape May Fried Flounder.

"Fieri's new concept promises 'simple with a twist,' not just a traditional steakhouse," the release says. "The main bar, which spans the length of the entire restaurant, will include unique California sourced wines, a robust selection of craft beers on tap, and spirits from a small batch distillery. The restaurant decor will be reminiscent of Guy's style with stainless steel and brass accents."

The hypercaffeinated, hyperblond TV star is setting up inside the former Reserve and an adjacent poker room on the sixth floor.

The release projects opening for "early summer." My sources say they've been told to get 'er done by July 4 weekend.

Caesars has confirmed my May 8 report that Philly native-gone-Floridian Steve Martorano will open an Italian restaurant in Harrah's, replacing Luke Palladino's restaurant.
