If I run out of these products today, I'm replacing them tonight

There are some products I simply can't do without.

I’ve purchased dozens of bottles of e.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set.

I probably have more makeup than you.

It's not like any normal person needs as much makeup as I have. I like to try new things, and I like to have options. Today, I may want to wear eye shadow from Urban Decay; tomorrow, it may be Too Faced. If I run out of one foundation, I've got another one ready to use.

But there are some products I simply can't do without. It doesn't matter if I have five other versions sitting at the ready on my vanity. If I run out of these products today, I'm replacing them tonight.

NYX Micro Brow Pencil, $10 at drugstores. I don't do my eyebrows without this magic product (which is a copy of a much more expensive version). I ran out mid-eyebrow over the weekend and drove to the store with my face half done to buy another one. Now that's product loyalty.

BareMinerals Well-Rested Eye Brightener, $20 at Ulta. This ultra-pigmented powder has a yellow cast that brightens undereye circles and hides veins in the eyelid. I use it to set my concealer (no matter which concealer I use!) every time I do my makeup, and have for more than 10 years.

e.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set, $3 at drugstores. I spray this on after I've applied all of the powder products to my face. It effectively flattens all the layers of makeup and hydrates the skin, making the look more natural. I've probably repurchased this spray more than 50 times over the years.

NYX Makeup Setting Spray — Matte, $8 at drugstores. Yes, another spray. Yes, I use them both every day. Yes, I'm high-maintenance. This one makes makeup last longer — really! It also comes in a Dewy version, but I find the Matte works better for my skin. I spray it on after I'm done with my makeup to lock in the look.

L'Oreal Voluminous Smoldering Liner, $8.95 at drugstores. Another product I've worn every day for more than 10 years. It's super-black, doesn't smudge, and doesn't irritate my eyes, even when I wear my contacts.

Rimmel Provocalips 16HR Kiss Proof Lip Colour in Make Your Move, $5.29 at drugstores. I'm a firm believer that everyone should have a "my lips but better shade." This one is mine. I can wear it with shorts or a little black dress, and the long-lasting formula means no fuss. No, I don't wear it every day (maybe not even every week), but I replace it as soon as it runs out.
