Street Gazing: Gentlemen style

GENTLEMEN’S style has evolved over the years, changing from the well-tailored “Mad Men” look of the ’60s, to the oversized boxed fit of the ’90s. Now the old is new again and the sartorial look is back for young and old. On the streets of Philadelphia I’m seeing stylish men rocking bowties, fedoras, double-breasted suits and silk pocket squares and my favorite — cashmere top coats. Some places to find these looks: Ray Custom Shirtmaker, 336 Montgomery Ave., Bala Cynwyd; Distante, 1510 Sansom St., and Commonwealth Proper, 1732 Spruce St.
