Trading uniforms for couture

No matter how much Cole Hamels and Hunter Pence hammed it up on the runway, it was Shane Victorino's daughter Kali'a who stole the show at his foundation's fashion fundraiser Monday night at the Union League. The little girl worked the catwalk along with her Phillies outfielder father and mom Melissa. The family modeled clothes by Neiman Marcus, as did Phillies Jonathan Papelbon with wife Ashley, Stephenie and Kyle Kendrick, Angela and Ty Wigginton, Jen and Joe Savery, Ashley and Mike Fontenot, Tara and Chad Qualls, John Mayberry Jr., Jimmy Rollins, Michael Schwimer and Chase Utley's wife, Jennifer, who strolled the runway with Phillie Phanatic

Boxing champ Bernard Hopkins modeled, as did comedians David Brenner and Joe Piscopo, who were enlisted by friends who work with the Shane Victorino Foundation to participate in the sold-out event.

Victorino told us it meant a lot to him that his teammates were willing to not only show up for his charity event but to model and get out of their comfort zones.

Just before the event, outside, Craig Spitzer of A2C IT Consulting proposed to girlfriend Erin Elmore, a lawyer and former "Apprentice" castmate, presenting her with a ring that various girlfriends kept coming over to see.

The Shane Victorino Foundation honored two people for their charity efforts: former Phillies great Garry Maddox and businessman Lewis Katz, who is a co-owner of Interstate General Media, parent company of the Daily News, Inquirer and Philly.com.

Sykes dined with family and friends, including DJ Samantha Ronson, ex-girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan, who has become friendly with Sykes after meeting her a few times while both played at Borgata. Ronson spun at mur.mur Saturday night.

Former U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter and wife Joan, a former city councilwoman, caught Saturday's Union match against D.C. United from the PPL Park suite of Union CEO and managing partner Nick Sakiewicz.

Biker mag gets political

Cherry Hill's Casey Exton was surprised recently to get a phone call from actress Park Overall, who starred on the sitcom "Empty Nest." He featured Overall on the cover of his magazine Outlaw Biker in 1992. In August, Exton will be printing his endorsement of Overall, a motorcycle enthusiast, in her campaign for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate seat from Tennessee currently held by Republican Bob Corker.

The primary is Aug. 2.
