Street Gazing with Big Rube: She's a Lady
Posted on Thu, Nov 08, 2012
I lived the ‘80s, and those shoulder pads are what sticks in the mind. Feminine style is back, with ladies sashaying down the street going to and from work. In skirts, heels and scarves — and toting giant handbags — these women have a style that harkens back to the days of the power suit. It’s Melanie Griffith in “Working Girl,” minus the Velcro-on shoulder pads.
