Monday's Child: LeBron, 9, imaginative and curious

LeBron is an energetic, imaginative, and curious 9-year-old who gets along well with adults and other children. His favorite pastimes include playing outdoors, going to the playground, and swimming. His proudest achievement is learning to ride a bike. A perfect day for LeBron would be going to the beach, visiting an amusement park, or testing his skill at games in an arcade.

LeBron also enjoys coloring and drawing, and watching television cartoons and movies featuring superheroes. Perhaps his fascination with them is one of the reasons he wants to be a police officer when he grows up.

In school, LeBron receives special-education services and benefits from the small class size and individual attention. He does well in his subjects. Art is his favorite class. He especially looks forward to going to the library and using the computers.

If LeBron had three wishes, they would be to never get hurt, to be tall, and to have a forever family. His ideal family would be very active and would play sports with him and take him to amusement parks. He is close to his aunt and sister, and it is important that they remain in contact.

LeBron and other children are available for adoption. For information, contact Anna Coleman at the National Adoption Center.
