Amy Schumer not interested in being 'Glamour' gal if mag thinks she's fat

Also in Tattle: Hans Zimmer, Amber Rayne, Beyonce, Bradley Whitford

You know that horrible moment when you ask a woman when the baby is due and she gives you the fisheye and replies, "I'm not pregnant."

Glamour magazine sort of did that to Amy Schumer with its new list of stars who are "Chic At Any Size."

Amy doesn't see herself as a "plus size" gal - because she isn't.

She wrote on Instagram: "I think there's nothing wrong with being plus size. Beautiful healthy women. Plus size is considered size 16 in America. I go between a size 6 and an 8."

Schumer is also annoyed because she feels the magazine's message is bad for young women, the issue reprinted a Q&A Schumer did for the mag last year and Glamour never told Schumer they were re-running the interview, or that they now considered her a, er, heavy woman.

But she is one of the heavy women who "inspire" Glamour, along with Melissa McCarthy, Adele and model Ashley Graham.

On Tuesday, a spokesperson for the U.S. edition of Glamour told Daily Mail Online that the publication had already sent Schumer an email apology. "First off, we love Amy, and our readers do too - which is why we featured her on the cover of Glamour last year.

"The cover line on this special edition - which is aimed at women size 12 and up - simply says 'Women Who Inspire Us,' since we believe her passionate and vocal message of body positivity IS inspiring, as is the message of the many other women, of all sizes, featured.

"The edition did not describe her as plus-size. We are sorry if we offended her in any way."

TATTBITS

* Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight trilogy, Iron Man and Spider-Man) says he's done writing the music for comic-book movies.

Zimmer told the BBC that he's finding it difficult to "stay fresh."

That's the same thing comic book movies were saying until Deadpool.

* Porn star Amber Rayne (aka Meghan Wren), who had more than 500 adult-film credits in a career dating back to 2005, and once accused fellow porn star James Deen of sexual assault for his over-aggressive behavior during a shoot, was found dead in her L.A. home over the weekend.

Her death was reported as an accident or a possible overdose by the Los Angeles Times.

Rayne was reported to be a survivor of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and uterine cancer.

Rayne, who owned a horse farm, announced her retirement from adult films last year, but like many performers she found it difficult to walk away.

"I announced my official retirement in April," Rayne told Adult Video News, "and I've been in and out, in and out, performing-wise, for like a year, but I've still been performing and directing and producing, editing."

Porn star and director Stormy Daniels, who last worked with Rayne, said that she would care for Rayne's animals.

* Remember that anti-Beyonce movement over her "Formation" video and Super Bowl performance?

Queen Bey responds in Elle: "I mean, I'm an artist and I think the most powerful art is usually misunderstood. But anyone who perceives my message as anti-police is completely mistaken. I have so much admiration and respect for officers and the families of officers who sacrifice themselves to keep us safe.

"But let's be clear: I am against police brutality and injustice. Those are two separate things. If celebrating my roots and culture during Black History Month made anyone uncomfortable, those feelings were there long before a video and long before me."

* Speaking on MSNBC, actor and Hillary Clinton backer Bradley Whitford, who played TV President Josiah Bartlet's deputy chief of staff on The West Wing, said, "There's no doubt in my mind that Hillary would be President Bartlet's choice - nobody is more prepared to take that position on Day One," he said. "I know this might be controversial, but on behalf of Jed Bartlet, I want to endorse Hillary Clinton."

Well, it's probably better to have a TV character endorse a candidate than be a candidate.
