Date with Octomom goes for $500, and that's before buying dinner for 16

While Octomom Nadya Suleman's money woes continue, she's decided to try online dating.

TMZ.com reports that Octo has created an online dating profile for WhatsYourPrice.com, a site where users (formerly called johns) can pay other users to go out with them. In this heat, who wants to stand on a corner?

Octo didn't even lie in her profile, even though Tattle finds it a real deal-breaker when we see a woman's profile that says:

Have kids: Yes, 14.

Want kids: Yes.

She said she loves to laugh (with her laugh, that's not a plus) and she's into personal fitness.

The bidding for a night on the town with Nadya starts at $500.

And you thought Timeline was bad

An 18-year-old New Mexico girl named Selena Gomez has been banned from Facebook because she's not the Selena Gomez, even though she is a Selena Gomez.

According to the message she received from Facebook, TMZ.com reported, Selena was labeled "inauthentic" and was told that "impersonating anyone or anything is not allowed."

New Mexico's Selena told TMZ.com (and isn't it great that even non-famous Selenas now know to tell their stories to TMZ. com?), "I AM NOT AN IMPOSTOR ... My name is not hers on my page. In fact, I even put my middle name on my FB to clear up any confusion."

She added, "I did not have one single famous friend. I did not refer to myself as [the famous Selena], and I did not have any pictures of her on my page!"

The Facebook snafu, however, has caused a problem for Justin Bieber, who realized he's dating the wrong Selena.

Charlie Sheen, a lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan, has pledged to donate $50,000 to the team's community fund, matching the amount broadcaster Marty Brennaman raised for charity in return for having his head shaved on the field.

Sheen and father Martin Sheen, a Dayton, Ohio, native, were at the Reds game against Pittsburgh on Friday and saw Brennaman get his head shaved. Brennaman had promised to shave his hair if the Reds won 10 straight games and said he would do it publicly if fans donated at least $20,000 to the Reds fund.

A powerful thunderstorm rumbled into Chicago Saturday, forcing organizers to suspend the Lollapalooza music festival for more than two hours while the tens of thousands of concertgoers took shelter in parking garages.

Fortunately, organizers saw the need for conveniently located garages ahead of time and planned accordingly.

Even though the New Jersey Nets are moving to Brooklyn, Brooklynite Spike Lee told the New York Times he is not giving up his allegiance to the New York Knicks.

Last year he tried to hammer home the point on Twitter, saying that anyone who thinks he's switching to the Nets "is on crack, meth and malt liquor."

Note to Philadelphia readers: Take that combination and you'll be rooting for the Knicks.

Misdemeanor battery charges related to a bar dustup in New Orleans' French Quarter have been officially dropped against Academy Award-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr.

City spokesman Ryan Berni said that at an arraignment hearing Friday, no one showed up to press the complaint. As a result, the city dropped the charges.

Numerous right-wing websites are reporting that Mitt Romney has promised a vigorous crackdown on pornography if he's elected president (because those porn crackdowns have been so effective in the past), but that hasn't stopped Romney from getting a prominent endorsement from the adult community.

Maybe if she was still cranking out XXX features, she'd feel differently, but retired porn queen Jenna Jameson came out for the likely Republican nominee last week — and this just screams Mormon supporter — while drinking alcohol at a strip club in San Francisco.

"I'm very looking forward to a Republican being back in office," Jenna said to a CBS reporter. "When you're rich, you want a Republican in office."

Quite possibly the worst endorsement ever.
