The woman who so ably helped John Edwards destroy his bid for the presidency and who delivered him a baby girl named Quinn in 2008 says the couple's relationship is kaput.

"We are a family, but as of the end of last week, John Edwards and I are no longer a couple," Rielle Hunter on Tuesday told Good Morning America. Hunter, 48, a filmmaker who had an affair with the Democrat during his marriage to the late Elizabeth Edwards, told ABC's George Stephanopoulos she grew tired of hiding their relationship.

"For me, it's because I'm no longer interested in hiding," said Hunter. She defended writing a tell-all book about the affair and balked when asked how her Edwards-love collapsed. "I think that's private," she said. "We decided together. It's hard, painful."

Hunter said Edwards, 59, who denied being Quinn's da for two years, is "definitely going to continue" being a father.

Talk about a man of steel: Bad-boy-turned-rapper 50 Cent, who took nine bullets in a 2000 incident, has walked away from another potentially fatal incident Monday night when his SUV was rear-ended by a truck. Fiddy, 36, was taken to New York Hospital Queens after the crash, but was released a few hours later after being treated for minor neck and back injuries. He's "doing fine," his rep says.

A hole was torn in the space-time continuum Tuesday when Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, and Geri Halliwell took the stage in London to announce Viva Forever!, a stage musical based on their contribution to humanity during their years as the Spice Girls. "We're going to be introducing a whole new generation to Girl Power," said Beckham of the terrifying flashback set to premiere in London on Dec. 11. One consolation: The show is written by Absolutely Fabulous genius Jennifer Saunders.

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali, 70, will be honored for his humanitarian work at the Sports for Peace gala July 25 in London. Ali, described by the charity as a "role model on civil rights, humanity, and in opposing war," will be toasted by A-list stars including Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. … Snoop Dogg and Sean "Diddy" Combs' respective sons may share the football field together: Weeks after news broke that Diddy's progeny, Justin Combs, won a full football scholarship to UCLA, USA Today says Mr. Dogg's son, Cordell Broadus, also has landed a scholarship. But the lads won't play together for a while: Justin is about to start college, while Cordell is still a sophomore in high school. … NFL free agent and former Eagles star Terrell Owens is facing a potential P.R. disaster: TMZ says a woman claims she had Skype-sex with Owens and is offering to sell stills she took of the session, which she says show a nude Owens performing supremely X-rated solo acts. TMZ has not revealed (or been able to find?) the woman's name. Owens' reps have yet to comment.

Hangover star Zach Galifianakis (don't you just want to tug on his adorable beard?) has become engaged to Quinn Lundberg, 29, says Celebuzz.com. Zach, 42, and Quinn, who is the founder of the charity Growing Voices, will say "I do" on Aug. 11. … Actor, novelist, and scholar James Franco, who plays Hugh Hefner opposite Amanda Seyfried's Linda Lovelace in pornobiopic Lovelace, is pursuing the actress in earnest now that they've finished shooting the film, says the New York Daily News. … People.com has posted a photograph showing Brian Austin Green kissing the tummy bump on a bikini-clad Megan Fox. (It's really quite sexy and moving.) Seems it's the couple's nonverbal admission they are, indeed, expecting a baby.
