'30 Rock's' Alec Baldwin tweets 'bye to NBC

Shock and horror gripped 30 Rock fans Wednesday when Alec Baldwin, 54, tweeted that he’s dumping NBC after an infuriating run-in with a news crew from NBC’s Today. Alec was splenetic when journos camped out at his New York digs following the arrest of alleged stalker Genevieve Sabourinoutside. The actor felt he was ambushed by Today when he and fiancée Hilaria Thomas stepped out. “A story about stalking sure brings out the stalkers in the media,” he tweeted. “But, the Today Show?” Alec seemed disgusted that the show was there “alongside the other stalkers from the tabloid press” and concerned that “no one from NBC contacted me” before coming over. He concluded, “I think I’m leaving NBC just in time.” A Today insider tells TheWrap.com a reporter, who was shooting a segment outside Alec’s place, happened to ask the actor for comment, “as any reporter would. When said no, the crew left.”

Police: No crime in Houston death

Beverly Hills police have concluded their investigation of Whitney Houston's death. They say there was no sign a crime occurred.

Kanye 'n' Kim? Love incarnate

The Kanye West-Kim Kardashian romance rumor has spawned a deadly global cottage industry. Us Weekly cites Unnamed Sources who insist the world's greatest ego (Kanye) and the universe's most shameless self-perpetuating self-promotion machine (Kim) aren't dating as a publicity stunt. (When two narcissists meet, they cancel each other out and there grows, like so many lilacs, real love.) Kanye, 34, the source says, is "genuinely head over heels" for Kim, 31.

Asked by Ellen DeGeneres if the Kanye story is true, Kim sis Khloe says, "You gotta get her on the show and ask her." She adds, "I like Kanye. They're compatible."

William Levy's American Dream

William Levy is so fit he has "12-pack abs," Cheryl Burke, his pro dance partner on Dancing With the Stars, tells People mag.

But Levy, 31, isn't just a hottie. He is the American Dream personified. Born in Cuba, Levy fled by boat with his family to Miami when he was 15. "I didn't know if we were going to make it," Levy tells People, "but it was a do-or-die situation." In Miami, he worked in construction for $50 a day.

"To come to this country and receive this kind of love from people you don't even know, it's amazing," Levy tells the mag.

Jenny McCarthy's NFL tryout

Funny ('n' sexy) woman Jenny McCarthy, whose five-year thang with rubber-faced sex symbol Jim Carrey collapsed in 2010, is doing fine on the singles scene. TMZ says the former Playboy Playmate of the Year had a "romantic dinner" with Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher Tuesday night at Mastro's in Beverly Hills. A step up for Urlacher, who previously hooked up with Paris Hilton.

Bristol Palin: Levi to have another?!

"I said, 'No way, shut up!' "

That, Bristol Palin tells In Touch Weekly, was her reaction on hearing that her baby Tripp's da, Levi Johnston, has sired another out-of-wedlock child, this time with his new gf, Sunny Oglesby.

The news hit Bristol hard. "I think it's a little bit of everything," Sarah Palin's daughter says of how she felt, "and a lot of confusion. … I'm upset about it."

Bristol, 21, is concerned about the still-unemployed Levi's fitness to be a dad, since he has paid his first child so little attention.

"He's seen Tripp twice in the past four months," she tells In Touch. "He once went an entire year without seeing him at all."

Bristol's great fear? That Levi will impregnate scores of young girls all across the nation. "I don't want [Tripp] to go to elementary school with 10 half-siblings," she says. "That would really affect him."

Ashley Judd slams media's sexism

Sexism is endemic in our culture, says Ashley Judd in a searing condemnation of the media posted on the Daily Beast. Judd says she was appalled by the language the media used last week when rumors were rife that she had gone under the plastic surgeon's knife because she had a puffy face. (It was a sinus infection.)

Judd said she wasn't upset by what was said about her, but about the misogyny, the image obsession that grips American culture and its self-representation in the media.

The discourse, she writes, "was pointedly nasty, gendered, and misogynistic and embodies what all girls and women in our culture … endure every day, in ways both outrageous and subtle."

Judd said the coverage reveals an "insane" attitude not only about girls, but also "about boys and men, too, who are equally objectified and ridiculed, according to heteronormative definitions of masculinity that deny the full … range of their personhood."

Quote du jour: Elle's maturity

"I'm almost 50, so I obviously don't have the same body that I had when I was 20," Elle Macpherson, 48, tells Fitness mag. "But I also don't have the same mind-set either, when I was racked with self-consciousness and insecurity. Now I really appreciate my maturity as a woman, my depth of spirit and soul and my understanding of who I am and what's important to me."
