Five minutes with Ramadan Abdullah

Today, we talk with Germantown senior quarterback Ramadan Abdullah:

Who's your biggest role model?

Saints quarterback Drew Brees. He's not really a big quarterback but he's still good.

Who's your favorite professional athlete?

Cavaliers forward LeBron James. He's the greatest player out there.

Who's your favorite rapper?

Jay-Z

What's your favorite subject in school?

English

When did you start playing football?

When I was 3 years old.

What's the most difficult part of practice?

I don't think of any practice as difficult.

What's the most memorable game you've ever played in?

My first high school game with Germantown, my sophomore year, against Frankford. As soon as I got in I threw a touchdown pass and I've been starting at quarterback ever since.

What's the best advice a coach has given you?

That I've got to open my mouth, talk more and be a leader. I was the quiet type when I first came to Germantown.

What's been the best part of your senior year?

Being able to bond and get closer with my teammates.
