Former sportscaster Don Tollefson is in hot water with some in Montgomery County who say he failed to deliver ticket packages purchased by Eagles fans as part of his charity, according to a news report.
Tollefson was selling away game packages for $750 to local organizations who would raffle them off to customers, the Times Herald has reported. But some say the former 6ABC and Fox29 sportscaster never came through with the tickets, irking not only the organizations but the fans who bought the packages.
Proceeds from the sales were to go to Tollefson’s charity, Tackle Hatred Now. The issue came to light when fans that had purchased packages for the Sept. 29 away game against the Denver Broncos were unable to reach Tollefson for their tickets or get travel information.
The Eagles organization told the Times Herald that it had nothing to do with the tickets and has no affiliation with Tollefson.
