Police seek man for questioning in March killing

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for questioning in a March 2014 slaying.

Alberto Hernandez, 25, was found with a gunshot wound to his cheek on the 1400 block of Magee Street shortly after 11 p.m. on Mar. 5 on the 1400 block of Magee Street, police said. Hernandez was taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital where he died the next day.

Anyone with information is asked to call the city Homicide Division at 215-686-3334. A tip that leads to an arrest and conviction on homicide charges is eligible for a $20,000 reward.
