Gov. Rendell plans to vote for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton during the roll call at the Democratic National Convention, according to the website PolitickerPA.com. He said the recent dealing allowing her name to be placed into nomination was generous of Obama, and that voting for Clinton will be "cathartic" for her supporters.

Rendell is missing the point of moving forward and gathering around the presumptive nominee. It is a sign still of his unwillingness to be a good democrat in the sense now that all bets are off and McCain / Bush need to lose in the November as much as Obama should win. I'm voting for Obama in November. I would vote for Clinton were she the nominee. But the primary is done and it's obvious that Obama is the nominee, so why not gather around in a united front for Obama and against the republocrats.

I do like McCain for president ... however Obama is the only one in this country on the right track towards the energy crisis - we need to get away from the BIG OIL - look at all the profits we make while we struggle to fill our car tanks with gas ...

I plan to vote for her in November. McCain is scary and Obama is wet behind the ears. She was the best candidate in the running. As an independent, I didn't get to vote for her in the primary. I'll get my chance in November.
