Police were searching early Saturday for three suspects in connection with an armed robbery at a car wash on Franklin Mills Circle in Northeast Philadelphia at about 10:30 p.m. Friday.

The men allegedly robbed a man of $7,000 in cash before fleeing the scene on Knights Road toward Bensalem, police said.

Police said the suspects also stole the rental car the victim was driving – a 4-door Nissan Sentra with tinted windows.

Officials said the vehicle’s license plate was in the back window when it was stolen.
