Morning commute

The morning commute will be hazardous due to blowing and drifting of snow, along with wind chill factors below zero. My advice: do not travel Friday morning.

Snow should be tapering off by 4 a.m.

Skies will clear by the afternoon with sunshine, but temperatures will remain in the teens and blowing/drifting snow will remain a problem.

Storm recap

Between 4 and 8 inches of snow fell across the Philadelphia region with this Miller B type storm (always the toughest to forecast). As of midnight, 6 inches had fallen in Philly and 9 inches in Wilmington.

Eight-plus inches likely in Ocean and Monmouth counties in New Jersey before it is over.

Eagles gameday forecast

Dry and cold, with the temperature around 25 for the 8:10 p.m. Saturday kickoff. Wind will be a non-factor in this playoff game.
