4 weekend murders in Philly

Four people were murdered over the weekend in the city. Here's the rundown, according to police spokesman Sgt. Ray Evers:

Yesterday

* 3:15 a.m.: Karimah Bollard, 32, was stabbed repeatedly inside her residence on 16th Street near Cecil B. Moore Avenue, in North Philadelphia.

Police took Bollard to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 4:28 a.m. Police arrested Bollard's boyfriend, Solomon Carter, 28, and charged him with murder and related offenses.

Saturday

* 12:01 a.m. : Timothy Mitchell, 21, was shot while sitting on the front porch of his Overbrook home on 61st Street near Oxford. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

* 11:15 a.m.: A 35-year-old woman was found in a North Philadelphia back yard on Goodman Street near 11th with a gunshot wound to her head. * 1:15 p.m.: Gilberto Alvarez, 37, was shot once in the back on A Street near Wyoming Avenue, in Feltonville. He was pronounced dead at 1:35 p.m. at the scene.
